All electrical systems deteriorate with time… connections become loose, parts become worn, insulation breaks down and safety devices can seize up.

 Just because an electrical system works, it doesn’t mean that it’s safe.  Unseen faults can eventually cause a fire and/or electrocution.

A well maintained system will have a condition report undertaken every 2 yrs and a complete system diagnosis every 10 yrs.

It is strongly recommended that one of these reports is undertaken before buying a house, especially if the current owner cannot produce electrical certificates
